Cat-back Milltek Sport + Daehler H-Pipe + Capristo OPF-Bypass Sport Cat 200 for BMW M3/M4 G80/G81/G82 (no errors)
As a result of testing various exhaust configurations, we combined elements from 3 manufacturers towards an optimal exhaust configuration. This allowed us to achieve the perfect sound of the M-Performance exhaust for the inline three-liter six-cylinder S58. The sound is not too metallic, but also not overly artificially bassy. It is definitely more aggressive than the stock version, but not exhausting. The volume of the exhaust with closed throttle valves is very comfortable, and when the throttle valves are opened, the exhaust sounds robust and aggressive, as befits M-Power. No errors, no drone, no nails, no loss of warranty!
In the front section, we used a GPF-Bypass from Capristo, with 200cpsi sport catalysts, which replaces the factory GPF/OPF filters. The element has been designed so that the exhaust flow is the same as in the factory section, allowing the pressure difference sensors to read the factory values. This results in no errors in the engine control unit, without the need for additional modules and/or chiptuning.
Next, we installed a Daehler H-pipe in place of the factory middle muffler. This element improves the exhaust sound at low and medium RPMs.
The final section is the Milltek Sport muffler. Besides having a design that appropriately modulates the sound, the muffler is significantly smaller than the factory one, which means it doesn't "hang" visually under the car. The muffler is finished with 4 tips with a diameter of 115mm that properly fill the large openings in the factory diffuser. Optionally, we offer Carbon diffusers in several designs to choose from. The muffler is compatible with the throttle system controlled by the onboard computer. Additionally, the muffler has EC road approval ;)
We optionally offer a throttle control module, allowing full opening/closing of the throttle valves regardless of the selected driving mode of the car. Additionally, we suggest that all users of modern BMW M-Power cars disable the enhancement of exhaust sound through the car's internal speakers (ASD - Active Sound Design). BMW M should sound from the exhaust, not from the speakers!
